Japanese Yen, Coronavirus, and Main News of the Market

The fears about the coronavirus trumped central bank efforts to ease the pain. Despite the United States Federal Reserve slashed rates by zero, the dollar stood tall. Thus, Japan’s yen surged 2% with traders seeking cover in safe-haven currencies, on Monday.
