FED
The Federal Reserve System itself has the nickname of the Federal Reserve or simply “the Fed”. It is the central bank of the United States. Congress created the Fed to provide a more flexible, stable, and safer monetary and financial system.
Many labels include the Federal Reserve Bank, the United States’ central bank, or the FOMC (Federal Open Market Group), the Federal Reserve’s policy-making committee.
