Bitcoin Continues Gain Above $44K while Ethereum Plunges

On Friday, September 24, Bitcoin continued to climb above $44K while Ethereum dropped from yesterday’s sharp rebound. This causes altcoins’ prices to be mixed.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap boosted 1.03% to $44,477.89 with a 24-hour change of $453.72.

Currently, Bitcoin has a market capitalization of $837.22 billion. It has a 24-hour volume of $1.20 billion with a $43,406.40 low and a $44,997.60 high.

In early trading, BTC began rising decently over the level of $43,000. Then, it remained well bid, managing to clear the resistance level of $44,000 and a 100 hourly simple moving average.

Based on an analysis, Bitcoin’s immediate foundation is just about the level of $44,300.

Also, there is a key emerging channel that establishes support close to $44,250 according to the BTC/USD pair hourly chart.

Additionally, the pair is well above the 23.60% Fibonacci retracement level of the previous movement to $44,934 high from $39,580 low.

On the bright side, its prompt resistance is near the $44,800 zone. Besides, Bitcoin’s first major resistance lingers on the $45,000 level.

Moreover, a coherent break over the levels of $44,800 and $45,00 could ignite another expansion.

Then, the next major resistance comes just about the $46,200 level where the price could grow to the resistance of $47,000.

An analyst stated that Bitcoin could, unfortunately, start a new downturn if it fails to void the resistance zone of $45,000.

He added that its major support is close to the $44,250 area and the channel trend zone.

Furthermore, a reduction break under the channel support could steer the price to the support zone of $43,500 or the 100 hourly SMA.

Crypto Mixed as Bitcoin and Ether Crossed Path

On other hand, while Bitcoin continued its gains, Ethereum plunged 0.68% to $3,096.50.

Currently, the world’s largest altcoin has a market capitalization of $365.48 billion and a 24-hour volume of $17.89 billion.

Likewise, Uniswap plummeted 2.90% to $21.07 with a market capitalization of $12.84 billion and a 24-hour volume of $273.11 million.

Consequently, Bitcoin Cash slipped 0.87% to $543.35 with a market capitalization of $10.24 billion and a 24-hour volume of $5.42 billion.

Meanwhile, Litecoin increased 0.65% to $162.32 with a market capitalization of $10.78 billion and a 24-hour volume of $2.11 billion.

Also, Cardano rose 0.31% to $2.30 with a market capitalization of $73.66 billion and a 24-hour volume of $3.32 billion.
