WhatsApp New Feature – Search Business Near Location

WhatsApp plans to add several new features to the platform. It is already known that the Meta-owned messaging app is working on a new feature that will allow users to share media status in the chat as an update. The company is also working on a feature that allows users to edit the media file’s contact with. However, the leading news now is that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow its users to search for businesses near their location. The firm will enable consumers to search for grocery stores and other companies such as nearby restaurants and clothing stores.

With the latest information, WhatsApp is developing functionality that lets users easily search for nearby business objects using the interface and filtering them. The screenshot shows the company adding a new section called “Businesses Close” to its app; This feature will appear when users use the app search feature. In the Nearby Businesses section, users will see different categories on which messages show results.

According to reports, WhatsApp has launched this feature for some Android users in Sao Paulo. The company is also working on a similar feature for iOS users. WhatsApp has also updated its support pages. It describes in detail how this feature can be used. The company says consumers have three options when looking for a business. They can either share their current location, choose a specific location, or not show their location. Alternatively, they can search by location. In this case, WhatsApp will use their phone numbers to conduct their business in the region.

WhatsApp Updates

WhatsApp announced significant updates at the end of the year. It was recently announced that the app would have a feature that allows users to pre-listen to a voice message before sending it. Many people nowadays use the method of sending voice messages. However, none of the apps have the process of checking it so far. WhatsApp has added what has been lacking to all social media platforms so far. Since sending voice messages is one of the most popular ways, including saving time, many people use it daily. Since its release in 2013, voice messaging has become one of the most popular features of WhatsApp in the world.

The company says these messages bring people closer to loved ones than text messages or calls. Plus, it’s the easiest and fastest way to convey genuine emotion. 2022 will be a period of significant change for the app. We wonder how the competition will be and how much this new functionality will increase the popularity of using voice service.
