Welcome Onboard – ThinkMarkets To Liverpool FC

ThinkMarkets, one of the world’s leading online FX and CFD trading providers, has signed a sponsorship deal with Premier League football club Liverpool FC.

The new season is here, and guess who won’t keep calm – yes, football fans. There’s a reason this is the best sport in the world. The space has an entourage so big. You won’t do justice to it talking numbers.

But as fans are seeing a chance to get hyped up and support their teams, companies are seeing an opportunity to rush in and ink those sponsorship deals. ThinkMarkets is one of the companies not taking any chances.

About The Duo

ThinkMarkets is an established global brand specializing in online trading in financial markets.

The company provides a broad spectrum of financial products. They include CFDs, FX, shares, and indices to retail and institutional clients across the world via ThinkMarkets-branded operations in Australia, France, South Africa, and Singapore and through distribution partnerships with leading global brokers. The company is listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM: TMC).

Liverpool Football Club, on the other hand, is one of English football’s most successful clubs. This is true for both domestic and European competitions.

The club was founded in 1892. It has won a total of 18 First Division titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups, five Charity Shields, three UEFA Cups, and three European Super Cups as well as numerous other trophies.

Liverpool FC also boasts an extensive European pedigree, having played in five European Cup/UEFA Champions League finals.

The club’s trophy cabinet houses a record 18 English titles and a joint-record eight FA Cups. In addition, Liverpool FC was the first side to win three consecutive league titles (1894–96), which it last achieved over a century ago.

Icing On The Cake – The Sponsorship Deal

The two-year partnership will see the ThinkMarkets logo displayed across Anfield’s famous Kop Stand during home games for the next seasons. It also gives the company increased exposure through other club channels, including LFC television and match-day programs.

The sponsorship deal is another major milestone in ThinkMarkets’ global expansion strategy. ThinkMarkets is now Liverpool’s Official Global Trading Partner, receiving exclusive sponsorship opportunities and access to club hospitality under the new agreement signed between them.

In addition to this title, ThinkMarkets will receive match-day sponsorships for its clients. It can offer unique fan experiences with digital assets on behalf of the team through its platform.

ThinkMarkets CEO Nauman Anees said in a press release, “We look forward to exploring the synergies between trading and football strategy throughout our partnership.”

ThinkMarkets have been making waves with their aggressive expansion into foreign markets. Earlier in the year, they entered Japan by acquiring Forex JAPAN Co., Ltd (FXJ).

This move fueled speculation about ThinkMarket’s intentions to enter other Asian countries such as China or South Korea. But it also led many loyal customers of FXJapan to question if it was still safe for them to invest on these platforms going forward.
