On Friday, July 23, Wall Street closed higher, building a modest two-day rally on the U.S. stock market as the NASDAQ Composite Index led the gains by 0.36%.
The benchmark had a net increase of $52.64 which sent the stocks higher at $14,685 per share.
Its best performers include ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd which spiked 136.49% or 7.63 points to $13.22 per share.
This was followed by NRX Pharmaceuticals Inc which rose 62.71% or 6.34 points to $16.45 per share.
With Universe Pharmaceuticals which gained 44.53% or 1.18 points to $3.83 per share.
Likewise, the S&P 500 Index followed the lead by advancing 0.20% with a net gain of $8.79. This sent the stocks above at $4,367 per share.
The benchmark’s increase was led by Domino’s Pizza Inc which rallied 14.55% or 68.45 points to $538.82 per share.
This was followed by FirstEnergy Corp which jumped 4.29% or 1.61 points to $39.15 per share. With CSX Corp rising 3.48% or 1.10 points to $32.67 per share.
Consequently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average smashed 0.07% with a net gain of $25.35. This sent the stocks up at $34,823 per share.
Its top performers were Salesforce.com Inc which ameliorated 2.55% or 6.17 points to $248.28 per share.
This was followed by Microsoft Corp which progressed 1.68% or 4.74 points to $286.14 per share.
With Nike Inc CI B which also hopped 1.61% or 2.60 points to $163.68 per share.
Additionally, the stocks of the EU also climbed, led by Germany, which is the region’s largest economy.
In the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the DAX and the MDAX Performance Index both soared 0.60% or 92.04 points to $15,515 and 0.99% or 340.49 points to $34,844, respectively.
The former’s gains were led by Delivery Hero, Siemens, and RWE with a rise of 5.61% to $150.79, 2.84% to $157.74, and 2.20% to $34.96, respectively.
While the latter was led by Shop Apotheke Europe, Sartorius, and Rational with a jump of 6.88% to $162.80, 5.80% to $584.46, and 5.57% to $1,026.25, respectively.
In the Paris Stock Exchange, the CAC 40 Index also rallied 0.26% with a net increase of $17.11. This sent the stocks above at $6,482 per share.
Its best performers include Teleperformance, Dassault Systemes, and Worldline which all rose 2.58% to $420.95, 2.56% to $52.21, and 2.36% to $99.41, respectively.
