US Stocks Rallied as MSCI World Rose, NASDAQ led 1.55%

On Tuesday, August 24, US stocks were up as the MSCI World Index increased 1.06%. On Wall Street, the NASDAQ Composite Index led the gains by 1.55%.

The NASDAQ Composite Index pushed the US stocks up as it smashed 1.55% with a net addition of $227.99. This sent the stocks above at $14,942.65 per share.

Its best performers include Trillium Therapeutics Inc. which soared 188.83% or 11.50 points to $17.59 per share.

Then, Vivos Therapeutics Inc spiked 53.65% or 2.06 points to $5.90 per share. Also, Greenpro Capital Corp. jumped 34.23% or 0.26 points to $1.02 per share.

Likewise, the S&P 500 Index also contributed to the gains of the US stocks. It grew 0.85% with a net gain of $37.86 sending the stocks up at $4,479.53 per share.

The benchmark’s top performers include APA Corp. which progressed 7.59% or 1.22 points to $17.29 per share.

Then, Moderna Inc. enhanced 7.55% or 28.91 points to $411.89 per share. The same with the Occidental Petroleum Corp. which rose 6.92% or 1.52 points to $23.47 per share.

Consequently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average also lifted the US stocks as it rose 0.61% with a net increase of $215.63. This sent the stocks higher at $219.40 per share.

Boeing Co. led its gain as it boosted 3.16% or 6.73 points to $219.40 per share. Then, Chevron Corp. raised 2.58% or 2.43 points to $96.73 per share.

In addition, Intel Corp. hopped 2.35% or 1.22 points to $53.23 per share.

Global Stocks Up as US Climbed

Furthermore, the MSCI World Index increased 1.06% with a net gain of $32.55 sending the stocks above at $3,112.57 per share.

In Europe, Germany’s DAX Index ameliorated 0.28% or 44.75 points to $15,852.79 per share.

On the London Stock Exchange, the FTSE 100 Index climbed 0.30% or 21.12 points to $7,109.02 per share.

The same with France’s CAC 40 Index which led Europe’s gains by 0.86% with a net addition of  $56.99 to $6,683.10 per share.

In the Asia Pacific region, China’s Shanghai Composite Index advanced 0.89% or 31.10 points to $3,508.23 per share.

On the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Nikkei 225 Index increased 0.87% or 237.86 points to $27,732.10 per share.

Then, South Korea’s KOSPI Composite Index led Asia Pacific’s gains by 1.50% or 46.22 points to $3,136.43 per share.
