Major cryptos hit a high this month. How much did they gain?

Bitcoin rose by 0.77% to $8,698.5 on Friday. After a bullish start of the day, it soared from an early morning low of $8,626.5 to a high of $8,704.5. However, the crypto left the major support and resistance levels untested so far.

The other cryptos ended the day in the green as well. Stellar’s Lumen gained 1.52%, while Cardano’s ADA rose by 1.20%, and Ethereum added 1.06%.

However, Bitcoin dropped down by 1.71% on Thursday after rallying by 13.26% on Wednesday. The crypto ended the day at $8,631.8. All in all, Bitcoin gained 34.26% during April.

The crypto skyrocketed to a mid-morning intraday high of $9,441.9 before hitting reverse on Thursday. It broke through the first major resistance level at $9,229.46 before falling to a late afternoon intraday low of $8,416.0. Furthermore, Bitcoin recovered to levels around $8,800 for a while, before falling back into the red.

What about other digital coins?

Several other major cryptos traded on the bearish territory on Thursday as well. Some of them suffered significant losses. Cardano’s ADA plummeted down by 7.87%, while Monero’s XMR tumbled by 6.05%, and Ripple’s XRP lost 6.49%. Meanwhile, Stellar’s Lumen declined by 6.13%, and Tezos fell by 6.33%.

Tron’s TRX also dropped by 6.19%. EOS, Ethereum, and Litecoin weren’t far behind with losses of 5.78%, 4.41%, and 5.06%. On the other hand, Binance Coin, Bitcoin Cash SV, and Bitcoin Cash ABC endured modest declines, falling by 2.53%, 0.49%, 2.62%, respectively.

Nonetheless, the major cryptos found strong support in April. Tezos and Stellar’s Lumen gained the most during the month, adding 71.10% and 66.40%, respectively. Cardano’s ADA and Ethereum weren’t far behind, rallying by 56.01% and 54.97%, respectively.

Others also saw significant gains. Binance Coin skyrocketed by 34.92%, while Bitcoin Cash SV climbed up by 24.84%, and EOS soared by 27.59%. Furthermore, Monero’s XMR surged forward by 30.50%, and Ripple’s XRP increased by 21.54%. Tron’s TRX also hit high, rising by 30.87%.

Bitcoin Cash ABC and Litecoin ended the month with more modest gains of 14.02% and 18.34%, respectively. The crypto total market cap stood at $242.99bn on Friday.
