LEVERAGE

Leverage, also known as margin, is the percentage or fractional increase in your trading capital based on your available capital. It permits dealers to exchange notional values that are significantly greater than their actual capital. A leverage of 100:1 means you may trade a notional value 100 times higher than your trading account’s capital.
