DEALER
A person or company who acts as a primary or counterpart in a transaction. Principals usually take one side of a transaction. In fact, they hope to profit from the spread (profit) by closing the trade with another party later. A broker, on the other hand, is an individual or company that operates as a middleman, bringing buyers and sellers together for a fee or commission.
